Breakout
Signals Breakout and Cable Extender
- Overview
A DUELink signal breakout that exposes every JST cable signal on a female header — useful for wiring DUELink modules to a host board that doesn't have a JST connector (an Arduino, an Adafruit Feather, a custom PCB). Also works as a JST cable extender when you need extra length.
Both the DRP and CTN pins carry a mix of UART, I2C, and USB signals from the interfaces page — wire whichever matches what your host supports.
Wiring examples:

Common uses: wiring DUELink to JST-less host boards, lengthening a chain when the cable is too short, classroom labs that show the protocol on a scope.

Modules ship without cables to reduce waste. Some specialty boards include a USB cable; for the rest, see Cables to add cables to your order.
