Rechargeable Battery Power Hook
- Overview
Like a USB Hook but with an added 3.7 V 10440 lithium-ion battery charging circuit — plug in a 10440 to run a DUELink chain untethered, then connect USB-C to recharge while still powering the chain. Battery is required but not included.
Common uses: portable demos, wearable prototypes, mobile dataloggers, take-anywhere projects that need to run for hours without finding an outlet.
The 10440 is the same physical size as a AAA battery but is a lithium-ion cell — 3.7 V, lithium chemistry, designed for charging. Inserting a non-rechargeable AAA (1.5 V alkaline) or a NiMH AAA can cause the charging circuit to fail, leak, or in the worst case catch fire. Only use 10440 cells.
